Mala and Ranga, the homeowners, wanted to transform their home, particularly the kitchen, which felt cramped and unsuitable for their needs, especially for the hub-centric nature of Asian cooking. They dreamed of creating an open, spacious environment that would improve the flow between the kitchen and living areas, and enhance their home’s overall warmth and functionality.

Esteem’s Solution

Esteem Constructions worked closely with Mala and Ranga throughout the renovation process, ensuring transparency and flexibility.

Esteem was dedicated to bringing their ideas to life, including sourcing custom materials like a special front door glass that Mala desired, creating an elegant entrance that immediately sets the tone for the home. 

Inside, wall alterations were made to accommodate a buffet pantry, providing additional storage separate from the kitchen. The main kitchen area was completely upgraded with tile flooring, shaker-style polyurethane cabinets, and natural stone countertops featuring waterfall edges. 

The kitchen’s entryways were expanded to create an open-plan flow into the dining and living areas, and a tile splashback added a sleek finish. 

By keeping communication open and adapting to changes quickly, Esteem ensured the project was completed efficiently and delivered what was promised.
